The Galveston Theater and Arts Parternship, Inc. (GTAP) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educating the general public about the history of Galveston and the surrounding area through drama, art, music, modern presentations and lectures in an authentic, original and recognized vaudeville theater and exhibition halls located in the historic center of Galveston at the magnificent art deco designed Galveston Scottish Rite Cathedral located at 2128 Church St., Galveston, Texas 77550.

The Galveston Scottish Rite Cathedral is the hidden gem of Galveston and a treasure of architectural beauty. Built in 1929 in an Art-Deco style by the notable Texas architect Alfred C. Finn, the building is home to a historically preserved four hundred seat vaudeville-era theater, a magnificent library/exhibition hall, an ornate ball room, as well as the famed Egyptian Room.
G.T.A.P. is organized exclusively for the purposes subsequent to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax-decutible, any and all funds will be used for our stated purposes of artistic, musical and theatrical presentions and education of the public alongside the preservation of the historic Galveston S.R.C., vaudeville-era theater and exhibition halls.
